I am an owner of 4361 Brookside Lane, Unit A, and the President of the Essence Condo Owners Association, located across the street from the proposed development, and I did not receive a letter. I have spoken with our other COA board members, and we are concerned about the parking on our street if this 5-plex is built. The application lists"17 total parking spaces (5 garage, excluding street parking)”. I’m wondering if you have driven by this location. Brookside Lane is one of theshortest streets in Bozeman, and there is only parking available on one side of the street - the north side. It is always filled up in the evenings. Sometimes people on the south side of the street park in front of their driveways when parking isn’t available on the north side. When this happens,it creates a one-lane street, and makes it difficult to back out of our driveways. Please consider looking into this. Drive through our neighborhood and see for yourself that there will not be on street parking in front of this 5-plex -only on the opposite side of the street, which already fills up. The side street, Rosa Way, also fills up, as there are two daycare centers across thestreet. I do not see how 17 total parking spaces is possible. If I’m wrong, please let me know.
