Alderson ST Address 2 Unit A City Bozeman State Montana ZIP Code 59715 Comments Beavers have constructed several dams along Matthew Bird Creek adjacent to the linear trail causing the water level in the creek to rise. If these dams are not removed before the spring runoff occurs, the creek overflows, the water table rises and I experience flooding in the crawlspace of my condo. I explained this to a city parks employee several weeks ago who was inspecting the creek. He said he would find out which city department was responsible for the creek. To date nothing has been done to remove the dams. There are at least four beaver dams along the creek near the second wooden bridge north and west of the Church st entrance to the Gallagator Trail. I Strongly urge that these dams be removed before winter sets in to preclude spring flooding. Would you like to be contacted regarding your comments? (○) Yes How do you prefer we contact you?
