RE: UPS Bozeman Distribution Facility Design Review Board – Response to Comments
Below are responses to the Design Review Board comments received on 7/28/2021 as part of the Site Plan
Review Application.
BUILDING:
1. MP1 panels on the West Exterior Elevation have been rotated to run horizontally to emphasize the
repetition of the structure along the end wall and create a more human scaled section of the
elevation. This will also add visual interest to the façade with alternating shadow patterns from the
panels.
LANDSCAPE:
1. As part of the Planning Departments recommendation for approval to the Director, eight additional
evergreen trees will be placed near the pedestrian path and trail system. These locations will help
screen the building from view from the adjacent properties. The other plantings and berms have
been placed where there are currently gaps in vegetation on the adjacent properties.
