THE ACCURACY OF SUCH INFORMATION HAS NOT BEEN VERIFIED. DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS ARE INTENDED FOR ASSISTANCE AND GUIDANCE, BUT EXACT DIMENSIONS AND ELEVATIONS SHALL BE GOVERNED BY ACTUAL CONDITIONS AT THE SITE AND SHALL BE CHECKED BY THE CONTRACTOR.11 INSTALL WORK PLUMB, LEVEL, SQUARE, TRUE AND IN PROPER ALIGNMENT.12 PROVIDE REQUIRED BLOCKING AND BACKING FOR ALL WALL HUNG CASEWORK, ACCESSORIES, GRAB BARS,ETC.13 SEE PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS FOR DETAILED MATERIAL SPECIFICATIONS. SUBMISSION OR DISTRIBUTION TO MEET OFFICIAL REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS OR FOR OTHER PURPOSES IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROJECT IS NOT TO BE CONSTRUED AS PUBLICATION IN DEROGATION OF THE ARCHITECT’S COMMON LAW COPYRIGHT OR OTHER RESERVED RIGHTS.GENERAL ARCHITECTURAL CONDITIONS15 ARCHITECT WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY CHANGES FROM CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS UNLESS APPROVED IN WRITING IN ADVANCE OF CONSTRUCTION. DO NOT SUBSTITUTE, REVISE, OR CHANGE THE WORK WITHOUT THE WRITTEN CONSENT OF THE ARCHITECT.16 INSTALL ALL MATERIALS AND EQUIPMENT FOR MANUFACTURER’S WRITTEN RECOMMENDATIONS. IF MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS CONFLICT WITH THESE DRAWINGS, INFORM ARCHITECT OF SAID DISCREPANCIES.17 ALL WORK SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ALL FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL BUILDING CODES AND SAFETY ORDINANCES IN EFFECT AT THE PLACE OF BUILDING. REFER TO “BUILDING CODE REVIEW” SECTION ON THIS COVER SHEET FOR SPECIFIC CODES.18 IT IS THE INTENT OF THESE DOCUMENTS TO FULLY COMPLY WITH ALL CODE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS. WHERE DIMENSIONS AND OTHER CRITICAL CRITERIA ARE NOTED, THEY ARE TO BE ADHERED TO EXACTLY, UNLESS NOTED AS V.I.F OR +-. CONTRACTOR’S FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY PROVISION DESCRIBED IN THE DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS RELATED TO THESE ACCESSIBILITY OR OTHER LAWS AND CODES WILL REQUIRE CORRECTION AT CONTRACTOR’S EXPENSE. WHERE MAXIMUM OR MINIMUM DIMENSIONS AND SLOPE GRADIENTS ARE NOTED, NO EXCEPTION WILL BE MADE FOR NOT MEETING THESE REQUIREMENTS.19 EACH SUBCONTRACTOR IS CONSIDERED A SPECIALIST IN HIS/HER FIELD AND SHALL, WITH THE SUBMISSION OF HIS/HER BID, NOTIFY THE GENERAL CONTRACTOR OF ANY WORK CALLED OUT IN THE DRAWINGS IN HIS/HER TRADE THAT CANNOT BE FULLY GUARANTEED. THEY ARE ALSO EXPECTED TO HAVE SUITABLE QUALIFIED PERSONELL PERFORM WORK SPECIFIED HEREIN.20 THE INTENT OF THIS JOB IS THAT IT BE COMPLETE IN ALL RESPECTS WITH ALL SYSTEMS OPERATIVE.21 CONFIRM, DURING THE BID PERIOD, ON-SITE DELIVERY DATES OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL SPECIFIED IN THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND IMMEDIATELY NOTIFY THE ARCHITECT, IN WRITING, OF POTENTIAL DELAYS TO THE COMPLETION DATE OF THE PROJECT.22 SCHEDULE AND PERFORM THE WORK SO TO MINIMIZE THAT OTHER TENANTS IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD WILL NOT BE DISTRURBED, DAMAGE TO EXISTING WORK OUTSIDE OF THE PROJECT AREA WILL NOT OCCUR, AND TO COMPLY WITH THE PROPERTY OWNERS' REQUIREMENTS.23 SCHEDULE AND PERFORM THE WORK DURING NORMAL WORKING HOURS, ASDICTATED BY THE AGENCIES ORDINANCES.24 VERIFY IN FIELD ACCESS TO THE JOBSITE. NO ADDITIONAL COSTS WILL BE PAID TO THE CONTRACTOR DUE TO ITS FAILURE TO PLAN THE DELIVERY ROUTE AND METHOD FOR MATERIAL AND EQUIPMENT SPECIFIED.25 COORDINATE THE TRADES, CRAFTS AND SUBCONTRACTORS AS REQUIRED TO PROVIDE CORRECT AND ACCURATE CONNECTION OF ABUTTING, ADJOING, OVERLAPPING AND RELATED WORK. ITEMS OF EQUIPMENT, FIXTURES AND MATERIALS NOT DEFINETELY SPECIFIED HEREIN, BUT NECESSARY FOR COMPLETION OF THE WORK, SHALL BE PROVIDED AS INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS. SUCH ITEMS SHALL BE OF TYPE AND QUALITY SUITABLE FOR THE SERVICE REQUIRED AND COMPARABLE TO ADJACENT OR SIMILAR ITEMS ON THE SITE AND PER CODE. PROVIDE ANCHORS, FASTENERS, ACCESSORIES, APPURTENANCES, CAULKING AND SEALING, FLASHING, AND INCIDENTAL ITEMS AS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE WORK PROPERLY, FULLY AND CORRECTLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS.26 WHEREVER IN THE SPECIFICATIONS THE ABBREVIATION OR ACRONYM IS SPECIFIED, IT SHALL BE UNDERSTOOD TO MEAN THE FULL NAME OF THE RESPECTIVE ORGANIZATION, AS FOLLOWS:ANSI AMERICAN NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF STANDARDS ASTM AMERICAN SOCIETY FOR TESTING AND MATERIALS AWI ARCHITECTURAL WOODWORK ASSOCIATIONICBO INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF BUILDING OFFICIALSUL UNDERWRITERS LABATORIES, INC27 SHOP AND FIELD WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED BY MECHANICS, CRAFTSPERSONS, AND WORKERS SKILLED AND EXPERIENCED IN THE FABRICATION AND INSTALLATION OF THE WORK INVOLVED. WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BEST AND ACCEPTED PRACTICES OF THE VARIOUS TRADES INVOLVED.28 THE ARCHITECT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REJECT MATERIALS AND WORK QUALITY WHICH ARE NOT CONSIDERED TO BE UP TO THE SPECIFIED STANDARDS OF THE VARIOUS TRADES INVOLVED. SUCH INFERIOR MATERIAL OR WORK QUALITY SHALL BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED, AS DIRECTED, AT NO ADDITOINAL COST TO THE OWNER.29 WHERE SIZE, CAPACITY, MODEL, STYLE OR OTHER PERTINENT INFORMATIONS IS NOT INDICATED ON THE DRAWINGS, FURNISH EQUIPMENT, FIXTURES, OR MATERIALS OF SIZE, QUALITY, AND UTILITY WHICH WILL MEET APPLICABLE CODE REQUIREMENTS AND WHICH WILL ADEQUATELY SEVICE THE VARIOUS BUILDING FACILITIES AS REQUIRED. WHERE THESE ARE VISIBLE IN THE FINAL WORK, OBTAIN ARCHITECT'S APPROVAL BEFORE PROCEEEDING.30 THE DRAWINGS BY THE STRUCTURAL ENGINEER TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER THE ARCHITECTURAL REGARDING ANY STRUCTURAL ISSUES.
