To whom it may concern,
I have discussed with JDS Architects when Streamline bus service will be implemented at the
bus stop/shelter at Oak & Cottonwood. I have shared with them that in the short-term service
recommendations of the recently released Transit Development Plan is a route connecting
Gallatin High School to Bozeman High School, Downtown Bozeman, and multiple other bus
routes throughout town.
The new routes in the short-term recommendations will be implemented in August 2021. The
route that will serve the bus stop at Oak & Cottonwood could possibly be delayed if adequate
funding is not secured prior to the August 2, 2021 start date. However, we are encouraged by
the support we have seen so far from various funding partners and are still moving forward
with full implementation of the four in-town hourly routes, frequency runs (3 routes only), and
longer service hours.
