I am writing to strongly oppose the zoning application for The Ives to be developed for a
number of reasons. Most pressing is the impact to adjacent R1 zoned landowners. Asdiscussed and exemplified during the Planning Board meeting last week, there is a clear
discrepancy between this proposed design and immediate landowners. This type ofdevelopment planning is irresponsible.There needs to be more buffer between zoning in this
town. This has been proposed and seen in multiple developments by this same developer andthe City needs to start listening to adjacent landowners.
I recommend this be zoned at a maximum of R3 with a height restriction limited to what is
allowed in the design ordinance. There needs to be precedent on this issue, as it is happeningway too often in multiple parts of town.
I oppose the design as proposed.
