After graduating from Central Washington University with a degree in Recreation, Tourism & Events, I moved to Bozeman to pursue my passion for Marketing and Graphic design. I have always been a leader to my peers, from soccer team captain to being nominated for my university's Student Leadership Award. I am passionate about being a voice for the causes and non-profits that I hold dear to my heart. One of which is the Gallatin Valley YMCA. My educational background, experience working for Non-profits, and youthful viewpoints will make me a unique and diverse asset to the Community Development Board. The City of Bozeman strongly values diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Describe any efforts you have engaged in to expand your understanding of DEI. In addition to my RTE degree, I also minored in Human Resource Management and worked in Human Resources for two years in college. I have undergone several pieces of training related explicitly to DEI and its impacts on both places of work and community culture. In addition to my training, I am also a young woman who has worked in places that did not value my diversity; therefore, I can provide unique insights from an internal viewpoint.
