Started out as librarian in public, corporate and higher education libraries. Grew up in private business and farming and ranching. Lots of experience in bridge building, results focused, research driven project management and strategic planning. Have focused on Gallatin History Museum(executive committee) and GVLT presently. The City of Bozeman strongly values diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Describe any efforts you have engaged in to expand your understanding of DEI. Have always made appointments to committees, study groups, research teams etc as diverse and equal as possible from whatever pool of candidates was available including age, gender, race, sexual identity, political views, disabilities, vets and others unique in their experience with the issue to be addressed to extract as many competing ideas and views as possible. Have done this over the course of my career and found the results are better in terms of longevity and sustainability in spite of or because of the painful discourse.
