Please describe your professional and personal experiences, interest, and qualifications that make you
a good fit for this board.
I graduated with a BS from Cornell University's School of Hotel Administration in 2000. Following
graduation I worked for Marriott for 13 years managing a front desk team in large conference hotel in Long
Island NY before moving to the DC Metro Area as a Sales associate. I sold and managed social events such
as weddings and rehearsal dinners for a couple of years before transferring into Government/Corporate
Group Sales. Within 6 years of starting with Marriott, I became a Director of Sales, opening a 200+ room
hotel. During the last 7 years of my career with Marriott, I was a Sales Leader managing teams of 6-26 Sales
Managers selling the Mid Atlantic Market Hotels with goals exceeding 23 million dollars per year. After a
successful career with Marriott, I started with CFR Engineering as the HR and Office Manager. I have been
there since 2013.
In addition to working and raising my family, I have taken on a number of volunteer roles in the community
in which I lived. I was in charge of various committees for our Elementary School in Germantown MD, and
then the PTA President for two years prior to moving to Bozeman in Summer 2018. Since my move to
Bozeman, I have lead the Blessing Bunch (which supports the Staff at Petra Academy) as well as have been
on the Event Planning Committee for the school for the past three years. We plan and execute the annual
fundraising and community building events at the school.
I absolutely adore Bozeman and the state of Montana and want to be involved with our community on a
deeper level. I care about the direction our community is going in and want to be a part of shaping its
future.
The City of Bozeman strongly values diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Describe any efforts you have
engaged in to expand your understanding of DEI.
I moved from the most diverse city in America, Germantown MD. I resided there for 14 years after living in
DC for 3 years. I grew up in NY. I am a fair, inclusive person. I am an HR Manager and understand the
importance of diversity.
