I was 35 years with USDA, Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) retiring in 2001. I served in a variety of positions in MT, NM, PA and WDC. I have a MS in Agricultural Economics from MSU, Bozeman. I started in Bozeman as an economist on the watershed staff, then to Albuquerque, NM on the River Basin staff. I served in the Regional in Chester, PA as the Regional Economist for 13 NE states and was subsequently the staff leader for the Economics and Social Sciences staff. I then came back to Montana as the Assistant Sate Conservationist for Water Resources. I then took a position with the National Office as the Program Manager in the Water Resource Projects Division serving 26 states in the NE and South. I was subsequently selected as the Division Director overseeing water resource planning and implementation activities for the United States, Puerto Rico and Guam. I served as State Conservationist in ND and as Special Assistant to the Chief in WDC. I am currently working with two engineering firms: GENTERRA Consultants, LLC in Irvine, CA and ALPHA Engineering in St. George, UT on water resource projects in NM and UT.
