(○) No Please describe your professional and personal experiences, interest, and qualifications that make you a good fit for this board. First, I would like to say thank you for your consideration in me joining this board. Personal: I grew up in Gallatin Gateway, Montana, attended Bozeman High where I graduated in 2005 and moved to Colorado where I graduated from College in 2009, met my husband and then decided to move back to Bozeman to raise our 3 children under 6 in my hometown. This is our forever home and I would like to do everything I can to make this the best place for my young children and their peers. I also sit on the board for the Montana Science Center and am a current participant in Leadership Bozeman 34. Professional: I started my career in banking in Denver Colorado where I held a number of titles from branch manager to regional development manager and then I transitioned to insurance specializing in employee benefits. My experience growing up in a small town and being a professional in a large city has given me a unique perspective on economic planning. I have seen how some of the decisions made have affected later generations, businesses and communities in both positive and negative ways. I now specialize in working with local Montana businesses as an employee benefits consultant. The City of Bozeman strongly values diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Describe any efforts you have engaged in to expand your understanding of DEI. I am Cherokee Indian. This is not something I share often but I wanted to make it known for the candidate selection process for the advisory boards that I represent a small portion of that culture for our Bozeman community. Aside from that I greatly value diversity, equity and inclusion in our community and hope we can continue to find fair and equitable ways forward together. I believe I could add value to this board with my day to day interactions with clients and community members to bring a real life and real time perspective of the economics I see everyday. It is my intention to be a team player and work with those on the board to come up with real solutions and ideas so that everyone that lives here and that is moving here may benefit.
