(○) 1-5 years Have you ever served on a City or County Board or Commission? (○) No Please describe your professional and personal experiences, interest, and qualifications that make you a good fit for this board. I would be an excellent fit as a board member with the level of comprehension I hold on the subject of sustainability through efforts in support of the existing entities throughout Gallatin county that serve causes pertaining to climate, energy, conservation, and restoration. I am an active member of the community throughout Gallatin county and beyond. This year I attended a meeting focused on sustainable waste management where statistical data and ideas for a leap toward cleaner waste management was discussed. The lack of community members at this meeting (and lack of men) was alarming and caused me to critically evaluate the dire need for more effort, bodies, minds and structure within this movement. I am proud to inform whomever it may concern that I was a part of the Gallatin County River Clean-Up this year, and continue to consistently seek outlets that will allow me to contribute to 'green' efforts. Additionally, my organization and communication skills qualify me for the position, as I understand that being a part of the sustainability board would require one to be well spoken and capable of delivering critical messages. My professional experience should be considered as it has prepared me with a plethora valuable skills that would allow me to be literate in such a position. The City of Bozeman strongly values diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Describe any efforts you have engaged in to expand your understanding of DEI. As an active member of the community, and a POC, I am consistently involved in situations that consider and are focused around DEI.
