Please describe your professional and personal experiences, interest, and qualifications that make you
a good fit for this board.
I run an organization that includes specific efforts toward sustainability & education around local food
systems and carbon drawdown. My undergraduate degree ('96) was in environmental studies, which
represented a deep interest & heartfelt duty toward conservation. I later earned an MBA with an emphasis
on enviro studies & corporate social responsibility.
In terms of specific qualifications for this board, I will spend some time simply learning how things work &
delving into the processes, learning what's possible. I am experienced at working collaboratively, making big
decisions, researching, and looking at all views. I am personally very interested in seeing Bozeman become
more bold & assertive in terms of sustainability goals and actions, and I believe the community will be on
board.
The City of Bozeman strongly values diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Describe any efforts you have
engaged in to expand your understanding of DEI.
This is also regularly discussed and pursued at my organization, and I'm part of an industry group that has
frequent conversations about improving DEI efforts.
