I have a 30 year work career in community development that connected transportation planning to community growth. I have run and managed a parking commission, two downtown business districts and have worked with communities in Montana on quality urban design. Transportation is a tool for shaping community growth and a quality built environment. I am very interested too in helping the city ramp up becoming a Metropolitan Planning Organization. The City of Bozeman strongly values diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Describe any efforts you have engaged in to expand your understanding of DEI. There have been lots of conversations in my household about how we engage with others on this issue to make our life and our work more welcoming to those in our community that have been marginalized, left out, or otherwise.
