(○) No Please describe your professional and personal experiences, interest, and qualifications that make you a good fit for this board. I am interested in participating in the Urban Parks and Forestry Board because of my constant use and enjoyment of the parks and trails within Bozeman. I live near Bozeman Pond and often walk there, as well as on neighborhood trails in the area. I am a frequent visitor to other parks, including Gallatin County Regional Park, Rose Park, Glen Lake, and Peets Hill. I bike on many of the trail systems and multi-use paths throughout the city. The natural areas within Bozeman are a daily part of my life. I believe that the inclusion of outdoor spaces throughout the city for walking, biking, climbing, floating, socializing and more is an integral part of our culture and part of the big draw of living in the Bozeman area. It is important to me that this tradition remain a priority for Bozeman in its budget and future planning. I look forward to serving on the Urban Parks and Forestry Board. The City of Bozeman strongly values diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI). Describe any efforts you have engaged in to expand your understanding of DEI. As faculty at Montana State University, I have mentored women in mathematics, a currently under- represented group. I have also participated in the Indian Education for All training at Montana State.
