COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3290
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION TO THE
STATE OF MONTANA DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE FOR COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) MONIES.
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman is applying to the Montana Department of
Commerce for a Community Development Block Grant, on behalf of the Human Resource
Development Council, District IX, to assist in rehabilitation of the Armory (old post office)
to provide a Community Services Center that will provide intense case management for
disadvantaged households; and
WHEREAS, the City of Bozeman has conducted at least two public hearings as part
of the application process to solicit and consider citizen comments on community
development needs and proposed activities to respond to them.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana:
Section 1
That the City of Bozeman agrees to abide by all federal requirements as described
in the Community Development Block Grant Certification for Application.
Section 2
That the City Manager of the City of Bozeman is authorized to submit this
application to the Montana Department of Commerce, on behalf of the City of Bozeman, to
act on behalf of the City of Bozeman in regard to this application, and to provide such
additional information as may be required.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana,
at a regular session thereof held on the 17th day of May 1999.
