Dear Mr. Matsen,
I write to support the reduction in allowable hours for construction noise exceeding 60dB(A) as
measured from the property line of an adjacent property to prohibit such noise between 8pm and
7am. As a neighbor to BHS, I am highly familiar with the impact of construction, maintenance (e.g.
snow-ploughing and garbage removal), and activity-related vibrations and noise in my home at early
and late hours.
I will soon be subjecting my neighbors to the impact of re-roofing and other construction activities
on my own home, and certainly do not want to disturb them in the evening or early morning. Thank
you for efforts to reduce the impacts of noise on adjacent properties.
