Mr Knapper, I am writing to you regarding the proposed zoning of the Canyon Gate development by Home BasePartners. The current proposal includes commercial and high density housing which is wrong for the Story Millarea. Four story buildings would be an eyesore in this beautiful neighborhood of single family homes. AndyHolloran of Home Base Partners made a comment to the Bozeman Daily Chronicle “we’re focused on what thecity’s goals are, what the market wants.” He appears oblivious to the concerns of the Bozeman citizens living in theneighborhood. His financial bottom line is his main concern not what the city’s needs are. Does the city needanother high rise, high density (not affordable) housing/commercial complex at the base of the Bridgers. Wealready have the Cannery district and the affordable housing by Story Mill Park. This development should zonedthe same as the surrounding neighborhoods of single family homes of Legends and Creekwood.Sincerely, Kate Moore
