I am opposed to the potential re-zoning by Home Base Partners of the 20 acres on the corner of Bridger
Drive and Story Mill Road. The traffic on Bridger Drive is already high, with multiple back ups due to the rail
crossing and the proposed zoning is drastically different to the adjacent single family homes. And cash in
lieu of open space is horrible - Home Base just wants to build up every available space in Bozeman, and sell
the resulting homes and apartments to the highest dollar. Cash does not preserve open space for wildlife in
the long run, it only makes it easier to Home Base to turn a huge profit.
