View Unified Development Code Topic core bozeman city development Code Section(If Known) ? Describe Your Idea or Comment Here The feel of a real city core is being lost due to all of the very expensive and very high density city housing being allowed.I have not noted ANY parks or green space being included in these high density tear down and rebuilds.Developers love their money and it appears so does Bozeman Planning. Our funky town is crowded and there does not appear to be any new parks in town, new housing for the majority of humans who make under $100,000.Where do workers live?I am sure you are aware that hospital, public school employees, city employees,MSU employees(included adjunct and most professors make under$100,000. Educated andgiving to the community--These are the people that hold a town/city together. Great cities have many and frequent parks/open areas to rest with nature, and diverse housing mixed together. #1-open up access of our stream that runs thru town 1/2 or 1 block open park areas in the core of the city. North and South,East and West #2 decent housing intermixed for people making under$75,000(this is actually a high figure.Rent ccontrol with minimal increases. At this time, this should be 50%of any new housing/rebuilds.We have way overdone the expensive and fancy housing. ALL units should have at least%50 of renewable energy use. Think future--50 plus years. Thank you.
