Some of the comment was sent back to Lacie when she sent out the invitation. I'll forward them to you directly, Susan, so
you can distribute to the team and track as you see fit. There are two in my box this morning, so another one coming
next. t

think we either acknowledge we won't have affordable housing, or we achieve significantly less costly housing. Trying to
meet in the middle won't be successful on either front.
If we choose less costly housing, need to drastically reduce size/complexity, and increase efficiency(compact). Changes
to regulations would allow for basic necessities vs. aesthetics
Certainly a challenging issue

Good Morning,
We'd like to pose two questions prior to tomorrow's meeting with the Development Community. The agenda, including
virtual meeting information, is attached.
1. If you could change just one thing about the substantive regulations in the Unified Development Code to promote
the creation of more affordable housing, what would it be?
2. If you could change just one thing in Bozeman's development approval process to promote the creation of more
affordable housing, what would it be?
Contemplating these two questions before the meeting will help get us started with rich conversation right away. Folks can
come prepared with ideas or questions, and can always go to www.bozeman.net/housingcode to enter those questions or
ideas in the comment platform
Hope you can join!
