COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3807
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, INCREASING RESIDENTIAL, EMPLOYEE AND VISITOR PARKING
PERMIT FEES AND PERMIT TRANSFER FEES FOR THE MONTANA STATE
UNIVERSITY AND THE BOZEMAN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL RESIDENTIAL ON-
STREET PARKING PERMIT REGULATION PROGRAMS.
WHEREAS, the City Commission did, on the 7th day of March 1994, adopt Ordinance No. 1377,
establishing the Montana State University Residential On-Street Parking Permit Regulation Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission did, on the 23rd day of July 2001, adopt Ordinance No. 1542,
establishing the Bozeman Senior High School Residential On-Street Parking Permit Regulation Program;
and
WHEREAS, Bozeman Municipal Code Section 10.32.370 provides for residential parking permit
fees to be established by resolution at the level that covers the cost of administration and enforcement of the
residential parking permit regulations in the residential areas; and
WHEREAS, Bozeman Municipal Code Section 1 0.32.396.F provides for residential parking permit
fees to be established by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the residential parking permit fees were last established for the MSU Parking District
on June 13, 1994 by Commission Resolution No. 2983; and
WHEREAS, the residential parking permit fees were last established for the Bozeman Senior High
School parking district on July 23rd, 2001 by Commission Resolution No. 3455; and
WHEREAS, the current fees no longer cover the cost of administration and enforcement of the
residential parking permit regulations in the residential areas.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission ofthe City of Bozeman, Montana:
Section 1
Residential parking permits shall be issued for a permit year beginning on August 1. Effective
August 1, 2005, the annual fee for each permit shall be as follows:
Residential permits $10.00
Visitor permits $10.00
Employee permits $10.00
Replacement of mutilated,
stolen or lost permits $10.00
Transfer fee $ 5.00
These fees will not be prorated for permits purchased after August 1.
