As a school administrator who has worked closely with our School Resource Officers (SRO's) for the past six
years, I can speak to the invaluable role the SRO's have played in our school communities.
The SRO's have worked hard, and succeeded at building positive relationships with the students, families,
and school staff. This is not only a benefit to our schools and students, but to our Bozeman community as a
whole.
The SRO's have training on how to work in schools, and are selected in part on their ability to work
positively with students.
The SRO program has been an incredible partnership and to the benefit to both our community and our
outstanding local police force.
