NOTICE OF A
CERTIFICATE OF APPROPRIATENESS APPLICATION WITH A DEVIATION
This application is evaluated against the certificate of appropriateness and deviation criteria of Section 38.340 of the
municipal code and associated standards. Approval or conditional approval may be granted if the decision maker
determines all criteria are met.
The public may comment in writing regarding compliance of this application with the required criteria.

Summary: Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) application with a deviation requested from Section
38.320.030 of the Bozeman Municipal Code to increase the footprint of an existing house within the front
(corner side) setback. The proposed house expansion is 12 feet from the street, a 20% deviation of the front
setback standard which is 15 feet.
