I am writing in support of Parking Commission Resolution 2021-05 as proposed.
The proposed provisions are clear, concise, and based on common parking and
planning best practices.
In essence the proposed edits would immensely simplify the minimum parkingcalculations for all types of development.
The changes are aligned with what is proposed in the current Downtown
Improvement Plan and very similar to what was previously adopted for the Midtown
District.This is an important first to modernize Bozeman’s development parking requirements.
Thank you to the Parking Commissioners for all their diligent and diliberate efforts to
improve parking management for the good of the entire community.
