Everyday I walk my dog by two broken irrigation systems pumping out 10 GPM, that’s almost 1500 gallons per day for each system. They are in the city limits. I have reported these to theWater Conservation Department. I was told there is nothing they can do about this because the two areas are on irrigation wells. Meanwhile the city is in a stage 2 drought with mandatorywater restriction and surge charges to our water bills. It should not matter if they are on a well or on municipality water, it’s the same eco system. I hope the city commissioners can discuss this and find a way to address these propertyowners. One of the systems is in the boulevard of the 2200 block on North Ferguson and the other is on Cattail Lane between Davis Lane and Veronica. The system on Cattail wasdamaged when the contractor COP was working on the city sewer system and piled debris on the boulevard.
