We oppose routing the proposed development traffic through Loyal Garden.
As residents of Bozeman Montana and two of your constituents, we wish to submit our perspective that
Loyal Garden is among a handful of thoughtfully planned neighborhoods in Bozeman. I assume that as a city
commission you would encourage and incentivize strong community planning in Bozeman. I hope you
recognize that if the Bozeman City Commission facilitates routing traffic from the proposed development
through Loyal Garden, you will be sending a message that effective community planning in Bozeman can be
undone with a figurative swipe of the commissions pen in the future.
Routing traffic from the proposed development through Loyal Garden will clearly have a detrimental effect
on the quality of life of your constituents, while serving a development that falls outside your constituency.
I would suggest that the developer secure the right of way necessary to connect the proposed
development to Stucky Road.
For this commission to facilitate anything else would be a disservice to the residents of Loyal Garden and
Bozeman Montana. For these reasons we oppose approval of this proposal by the Bozeman City
Commission.
