Years ago I watched a documentary that showed original filming of an old growth forest being sawed down.
Narrating was an old man who had participated in that work. He deeply regretted having done that. I believe in
sparing old growth trees where possible. Today, more than ever, we need “rec” areas for people. For that, plus other
reasons the old growth trees in the popular “Kirk Hill” rec area near Bozeman, must not be tampered with. Thank
