Bozeman City Commission:
I wish to encourage you to vote NO on the proposed logging of the 651 acres including Kirk Hill.
I feel the value of the older forests is simply higher than the proposed results from logging. The construction of a
road will affect the area much too dramatically and will never truly be mitigated or reclaimed. Since logging is
rarely cost effective I suggest subsidizing it, as is typical, so as to truly selectively log. No road and less cutting.
