I am writing to validate support for the Whole Foods Market to continue development in the former
Fuddruckers pad site at Gallatin Valley Mall. As a resident of Bozeman, I know the Mall is in extreme need
of revitalization. The beginning of that effort will be met with the opening of Whole Foods Market. I have
been a customer of Whole Foods since the early 1980's when it was founded in Austin Texas. The store has
always had a dedication to meeting the needs of their clients, even with the buyout from Amazon
Corporation. Existing grocery stores are part of large Corporations - Smith's (Kroger), Albertsons, Safeway
and even Rosauer's - no one seems to mind their presence in Bozeman. The individuals that will enjoy
shopping Whole Foods are the same type of individuals that want more options in products available at
grocery stores. Another grocery chain will be good business for the Bozeman area in addition to starting the
revitalization of a mall that needs to be brought into the 21st century.
