As a native Montanan and local business owner, I strongly urge all of the City Commissioners to welcome
new businesses to Bozeman. Whole Foods Market is a long-standing well respected business in all the
communities it graces. It adds to our wonderfully diverse retail market of food & beverage choices, allowing
consumers and visitors greater choices. As the west end of Bozeman continues to grow it will also add more
convenient grocery access. Finally, the greater Bozeman Mall site has been close to extinction for a long
time, as has already happened to Mall sites around Montana. Residents should applaud the developers and
Whole Foods Market for their continued investment into our whole community. This new addition to
Bozeman meets city development requirements and I urge the Commissions to deny the appeal and allow
Whole Foods Market to continue forward with their building and store opening.
