Dear City of Bozeman and other public officials.
Our local economy is sinking, we are making headlines around the country for what a magnificent place it is
to visit and businesses are holding on by a thread. We do not have the proper staff and the staff that is
working is overworked and stressed because they can’t find proper housing or have to wait weeks to get
their car fixed or get a dentist appointment. The world will not wait for you to catch up with affordable
housing, health services, social services, etc. They will leave us just as fast as they came.
Just take a look at the daily flurry of help wanted on craigslist, it fills up the first page in less than 48 hours.
Or the 30+ applicants per rental available, not to mention the endless waiting lists to be contacted for an
available rental.
