NEIGHBORHOOD CONTEXT: FORM AND FABRICTHE NEIGHBORHOOD CONSISTS OF AN ECLECTIC MIX OF FORMS. ROOF FORMS RANGE FROM GABLE, HIP, SHED TO FLAT ROOF.INDIVIDUAL HOME FORMS CONSIST OF SEVERAL MULTIPLE INDIVIDUAL FORMS CREATING THE WHOLE HOUSE. THESE INDIVIDUAL FORMS HELP TO SCALE THE HOMES AND CREATE VISUAL INTEREST IN THE OVERALL FABRIC. THIS ALSO HELPS TO CREATE A HIGHLY ENERGETICNON-HOMOGENEOUS FABRIC TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD. IN ADDITION TO THE "MULTIPLE FORMS" OF EACH INDIVIDUAL HOUSE THE FORMS ARE FURTHER SCALED THROUGH THE USE OF MULTIPLE TYPES OF SIDING BEING EMPLOYED, AN ALMOST "COLLAGE" COMPOSITION ACROSS THE FACADES. THE NEIGHBORHOOD CONSISTS OF A VARIETY OF ARCHITECTURAL STYLES WITH FORMS OF DIFFERING STYLES BEING FUSED TOGETHER OR PLACED DIRECTLY ADJACENT TO EACH OTHER.IT IS THROUGH THIS DIVERSITY OF STYLES , EVOLUTION OF FORM AND JUXTAPOSITION THAT THE NEIGHBORHOOD TAKES ON A VERY ENERGETIC, LIVELY ENERGY.THE DESIGN OF THE ACCESSORY STRUCTURES DRAWS ITS INSPIRATION FROM THE VARIETY OF FORMS AND JUXTAPOSITIONS FOUND THROUGH OUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD7. NEIGHBORHOOD MATERIALITYTHE EXTERIOR MATERIALITY OF THE INDIVIDUAL HOMES IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS DIVERSE AND VARIED ACROSS THE ENTIRE NEIGHBORHOOD.MANY OF THE HOMES USE MULTIPLE TYPES OF SIDING IN DIFFERENT TYPES ACROSS THEIR EXTERIORS. THIS LENDS TO A DIVERSE, ENERGETIC COLLAGE TYPE QUALITY TO INDIVIDUAL HOMES AND THE NEIGHBORHOOD AS A WHOLE.MATERIAL TYPES FOUND IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD INCLUDE:WOOD SIDING IN HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL ORIENTATION IN A MULTITUDE OF PROFILES.THE WOOD IS ALSO FOUND TO BE PAINTED, STAINED OR LEFT IN ITS "NATURAL" TONE"METAL - FOUND IN SEVERAL DIFFERENT PATTERNS, STYLES AND COLORSBRICKSTUCCOCOMPOSITE MATERIALS - RANGE FROM SMALLER SCALE "TILE" TYPE MATERIAL TO LARGER PANELS IN A MULTITUDE OF COLORSNEIGHBORHOOD WINDOW/FENESTRATION TYPES/PATTERNSA RANGE OF WINDOW TYPES AND PATTERNS ARE FOUND THROUGHOUT THE EXISTING HOME AND NEIGHBORHOOD INCLUDING TALL VERTICAL, NARROW, REPETITIVE PUNCHED OPENINGS, TO "WINDOW" WALL SYSTEMS TO LARGE PICTURE UNITS. THESE PATTERNS HAVE INFORMED AND HAVE BEEN INTEGRATED INTO THE DESIGN SOLUTION.
