Attention: Sarah Rosenberg, regarding Application(s) 20350 and 20351. Please add these comments
to the Public Commentary on these development applications. We are also looking for a response
from the City of Bozeman.
Ms. Rosenberg,
We are opposed to the proposed easements in this development project and the project itself. My
wife and I purchased a lovely condo on private Birdie Drive April, 2020 and moved in May, 2020.
We had been searching for a residence in Bozeman for several years. We purchased the condo on
Birdie Drive for numerous reasons but, especially for its’ beauty, lovely setting, the adjacent
wetlands, and relatively peaceful and quiet environment. We did not know there was in question an
access through our private cul-de-sac to a possible housing development. We are strongly opposed
to this future possibility for the reasons stated above. It is our understanding that our adjacent
community on Boylan Drive to the west also opposed access through their community and that it is
no longer an issue for them. It is also our understanding that access is already granted Bridger
Meadows through Commercial Drive behind the wetlands where the proposed development is to be
built. Please do not approve these applications and consider and respect the wishes of The Links
residents on private Birdie Drive to remain the peaceful and private community that we currently
enjoy.
