LEGENDCONSTRUCTIONTRAFFIC - ENTERINGCONSTRUCTIONTRAFFIC - EXITINGPROPOSEDSITEBABCOCKSTWFERGUSON AVEDURSTON RDS COTTONWOOD RD 1.ALL IMPROVEMENTS ON THIS PROJECT SHALL BE COMPLETED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE MONTANAPUBLIC WORKS STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS, 6TH EDITION DATED APRIL 2010 (MPWSS); THE CITY OFBOZEMAN MODIFICATIONS TO THE MPWSS; AND THE PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS.2.CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH ALL APPLICABLE DIVISION OF INDUSTRIAL REGULATIONS (OSHA)SAFETY STANDARDS. IF REQUESTED BY THE INSPECTOR, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PROVIDE PROOF OF APERMIT FROM SAID DIVISION.3.THE CONTRACTOR'S OPERATIONS SHALL BE CONFINED WITHIN THE PROJECT LIMITS. MATERIALS ANDEQUIPMENT SHALL BE STORED ON THE PROJECT SITE WHERE APPROVED BY THE OWNER. IT SHALL BEUNDERSTOOD THAT THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROTECTION AND SAFEKEEPING OF EQUIPMENT ANDMATERIALS ON OR NEAR THE SITE WILL BE ENTIRELY THAT OF THE CONTRACTOR AND THAT NO CLAIMSHALL BE MADE AGAINST THE OWNER BY REASON OF ANY ACT OF AN EMPLOYEE OR TRESPASSER.4.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE ENGINEER AND THE CITY, COUNTY, AND/OR STATE INSPECTOR 48HOURS PRIOR TO COMMENCING CONSTRUCTION AND 24 HOURS IN ADVANCE OF SPECIFIC INSPECTIONNEEDS DURING THE COURSE OF THE WORK. ALL WORK SHALL BE PERFORMED DURING NORMAL WORKINGHOURS AND SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF AN INSPECTOR AND APPROVED BY THE ENGINEER. THECONTRACTOR WILL BE BILLED FOR SAID INSPECTION SERVICES AS PROVIDED IN THE MOST RECENTLYADOPTED FEES FOR SUCH SERVICES.5.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PERFORM ALL CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES IN A MANNER TO MINIMIZEINCONVENIENCE TO THE ADJACENT BUSINESSES.6.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PROTECTING ALL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE PROPERTYINSOFAR AS IT MAY BE AFFECTED BY THESE OPERATIONS, ALL COSTS FOR PROTECTING, REMOVING, ANDRESTORING EXISTING IMPROVEMENTS SHALL BE BORNE SOLELY BY THE CONTRACTOR.7.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL AT ALL TIMES TAKE WHATEVER MEASURES ARE NECESSARY TO ASSURE THEPROPER CONTAINMENT AND DISPOSAL OF POLLUTANTS ON THE SITE IN ACCORDANCE WITH ANY AND ALLAPPLICABLE LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL REGULATIONS.8.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL IMMEDIATELY CLEAN UP ANY CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS INADVERTENTLYDEPOSITED ON EXISTING STREETS, SIDEWALKS, OR OTHER PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY AND MAKE SURESTREETS AND WALKWAYS ARE CLEANED AT THE END OF EACH WORKING DAY.9.CONSTRUCTION WORK ZONE TRAFFIC SIGNS SHALL BE FURNISHED, INSTALLED, AND MAINTAINED INACCORDANCE WITH APPLICABLE REQUIREMENTS OF THE REGULATORY AGENCIES HAVING JURISDICTION.A TRAFFIC CONTROL PLAN, PREPARED BY THE CONTRACTOR, MAY BE REQUIRED BY THE CITY OR STATE."CONSTRUCTION AHEAD" WARNING SIGNS ARE TO TO BE INSTALLED ALONG ADJACENT ROADS ORDRIVEWAYS. FLASHERS WITH CAUTION TAPE ARE TO BE INSTALLED WHERE ANY CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITYCROSSES A SIDEWALK OR PEDESTRIAN PATH IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SPECIFICATIONS AND ANY ORALL LOCAL REGULATIONS.10.NO STOPPING, PARKING, OR STORING OF CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS IN THE PUBLIC STREETS /ROADS,RIGHTS-OF-WAY, OR ANY DRIVEWAY IS ALLOWED.11.CONTRACTOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR VERIFYING THAT THERE IS A CONSTRUCTION PERMIT APPROVED BYTHE MONTANA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY (MDEQ) OR LOCAL GOVERNING AGENCY ASAPPROPRIATE FOR THE CONTROL OF STORM WATER RUNOFF.
