Please add these comments to the public commentary on this development application. We are also looking for a response from the City of Bozeman. Hello Sarah, We object to the proposed easement in this development project. We purchased a condo at 2413 Birdie Drive in September 2012. The property was sold to us by Golf Course Partners (GCP) on a private road in a cul de sac. Later GCP sent a document to us, and our neighbors in the cul de sac, requesting that we agree to change the property line and allow for an easement. We, and our neighbors, declined to authorize this request and did not give our consent. As a reminder, this is private property and a private road - not a public road. So how are we here now? How is it even possible that the City has now recommended allowing this new development only one entrance and it’s through our private property and our private road? Where are our rights as property owners? We need to understand how the city can say this easement is legitimate, reconfigure our property lines, and force us to open a private road to traffic beyond our cul de sac without the consent of the current property owners.
