Please ban fireworks for this 4th of July.
At the very least, maybe allow on the 4th only, like other places that allow it.
Our health and safety is more important. Fire danger is high. The temperatures are very high. No rain. Our
yards are dry and needing more water, earlier than usual.
In addition to safety, the noise and smoke produced is hazardous. We need to be able to open our windows
at night to cool down for our health, too!! When everyone around you is lighting fireworks for hours night
after night, you have to close your windows due to the noise and smoke. Then you get too hot and
miserable. No sleep. People work. Children and pets need peace.
Isn't our health more important than fireworks?
