Hello Mayor, and commissioners,
I feel compelled to write to you today because I'm not satisfied with the spending proposals. Specifically the
1 million dollar increase in the police dept. budget. I would rather see that money used to higher life guards
for the swim center, and bogart pool. I would also like to see that money go towards helping the library
open on a more regular basis. We attempted to take my daughter there monday the 21st of June only to
find the doors locked. It's expensive to live here, allocating more money to librarians and lifeguards seems
like a better thing to spend our money on than more police. We'll actually use those two services, crime
being what it is here... Thanks for listening. -Jeff
