ATTN: Tom Rogers To whom it may concern, I'm writing to express my concern for the development plans of the Town West subdivision. From my understanding of the project and as a resident of the Loyal Gardens subdivision, Ihave concerns about the proposed plan to use Loyal Drive as an arterial access point into the Town West subdivision. Loyal Drive is a common neighborhood street. It has no painted lines, commonly has carsparked on both sides of the street, and is in a heavy pedestrian area of the Loyal Gardens neighborhood. The street passes by the only park in Loyal Gardens with children's playequipment and as such is heavily trafficked by children walking or on bikes and scooters. Opening up this street to traffic for a 150 lot subdivision is going to create a major increase intraffic next to an area of our neighborhood most commonly trafficked by children. This road was never intended to be a main arterial entryway to another subdivision and doing so wouldheavily increase the risk to my children who have spent the last 7 years rarely being concerned about traffic next to their neighborhoods play area. I'd like the city to propose that the Town West subdivision find an alternate route for a mainarterial entry into their neighborhood that doesn't increase the risk of residents of the Loyal Gardens subdivision.
