I am writing in support of Commissioner Coburn’s budget proposal for the allocation of funds to a crisis
response team and mental health services. As a city we have a low crime rate and a really high rate of
suicide, depression and anxiety. It makes sense to me to invest just as much or more into the mental and
emotional well-being of our city as the city is into law enforcement and the new law and justice center (jail).
Please consider what is most sustainable for our climate and people in the long term when making your
decisions.
