Dear Bozeman Mayor & City Council,
My name is Rebecca Himsl and I have been volunteering at the Help Center for almost three
years. I first want to let you know this request is all done on my own because I admire thededication and compassion everyone at the Help Center has for the people of Montana and the
countless lives they have saved through the simple act of just being there when someonedesperately reaches out for help. And have been there for fifty years!
I am writing to you today in hopes of persuading you to give a large portion of the ARPA
money available to the Help Center so they can not only use the money as they see fit, but alsoin hopes of improving the building that houses the Help Center on Peach Street. The little
house on Peach Street really needs some remodeling done. Maybe all of you could makearrangements to view the facility so you can see the great need for building improvements.
Their business phone number is 406-587-7511.
Giving ARPA money to the Help Center is also a very good choice because I know first handthat the crisis and suicide calls increased quite a bit during the pandemic which may be a
criteria for distributing ARPA funds.
Thank you for your consideration for The Help Center. A true refuge for us all in Bozeman.
Please contact me if you have any further questions.
Sincerely,Rebecca Himsl
