Dear City Commission, This letter is in support of the Bridger Meadows Subdivision. My wife and I have lived inBozeman for 13 years after both graduating from MSU in the engineering program. We understand the sensitivity of Bozeman's natural and environmental resources, and alsounderstand the regulations and requirements outlined by the governing bodies including the City of Bozeman. The Bridger Meadows Subdivision fulfills requirements prescribed by theseregulating bodies. The iterative design process has ensured a thoughtful layout; a layout which allows development, while protecting nature via a 7+ acre wildlife preserve. Throughthe design and review process with the City, the open space acreage has been increased and the number of residential lots has been reduced. 60% of the property is now provided ashabitat and wildlife refuge. Like many other people we enjoy the trails on the east side of town. We enjoy the many new commercial developments, and the new parks. We also enjoythe neighborhoods in this area which appear to successfully coexist with nature. It is obvious why this side of town continues to draw more people and interest. Thoughtfully and patientlydesigned residential subdivisions like Bridger Meadows deserve continued acceptance. Sincerely, Gary in Bozeman
