Dear City of Bozeman Commissioners,
I urge the City of Bozeman to fund Streamline’s entire $400,000 funding request. I believe public
transit is a critical resource in our community to reduce traffic congestion, support transportation for
the less economically endowed segment of our population, and to cut our collective effects on climate
change. I like to use Streamline to travel to my work at MSU because it reduces parking headaches
and can be the most efficient way for me to get there. I look forward to the day when the routes
planned for the future run into my own neighborhood. If we're to reach that day Streamline needs to
be fully funded with its latest route innovations which will already serve a larger portion of our
community. Full funding would also enable Streamline to expand weekend service and operate later
in the evenings on weekdays - important for students and swing workers. Please make expanded
public transit a priority. Please reconsider funding Streamline's entire $400,000 request.
