Please submit my comments below for review regarding the proposed development under application 20350, 20351 Bridger Meadows Public Comment
There are several relaxations of code requests. Two are of particular concern for me and
my family as they pose detrimental impacts to our safety and the ecosystem in our community.
1. I am opposed to the relaxation of code 38.400.010.A.8 Requirement for a second means
of public access to site. * A singular access point will create an unsafe traffic environment on Birdie Drive at an area that is already congested due to daytime business parking on
that street. This is an area I regularly walk and ride on with my young daughter to get to Story Mill Park. 6. I am opposed to the reduction in watercourse setback for lots 4-14
38.410.100.A.2 * The ponds on the property are an important habitat for migratory waterfowl and the construction of buildings so close will discourage wildlife from inhabiting
the ponds. I regularly see birds in this area on my morning walks. The Sandhill Cranes were nearly extinct less than 100 years ago. Let’s not push them from our area by
developing so close to their habitat.
