Dear Commission Members:
If the City of Bozeman were really serious about water conservation one of the first things they would do is
eliminate all the unnecessary grass growing on City and private property. This stuff is soaking up precious water
and lots of chemical fertilizers, herbicides and who knows what'all that eventually drains into local acquires
contaminating and poisoning the groundwater. I would like to suggest that Bozeman City Commissioners read an
article from today's Bozeman Daily Chronicle describing what the City of Las Vegas has just done to conserve its
rapidly diminishing supply of water from the Colorado River. It is as follows:
