We are working on a more concerted marketing effort for the summer months including sharing material with downtown business owners and the garage. Occupancy Data:Our on-street occupancy data efforts continue to progress nicely. We are working closely with our partners in GIS to identify any hiccups with the data. Our team has a goal to make the data available to the public at the beginning of September. Parking Software RFP:The Parking Enforcement and Permit Software RFP is currently posted and we are accepting proposals. The RFP has generated more interest than expected and we look forward to reviewing proposals from interested vendors. Garage Rates:Staff plans to bring an update to our garage rates back to the Parking Commission in July. As you know, this conversation has been contentious in the past. In order to better understand the concerns of business owners and other community members, Chair Ness and the Parking Manager plan to conduct outreach and find a good path forward to ensure rates are structured to benefit the city, parkers, our property owners, and business owners. Employee Permits:The Parking Manager plans to begin outreach conversations with the assistance of the Downtown Bozeman Partnership to pilot an employee permit program. The Manager will work with the business community to set forward a few guiding principles for the program and how best to serve their needs. Visitor Permits in the RPPD:Upon completion of the enforcement and permit software RFP, the Parking Manager will organize a focus groups with the University Neighborhood Association to discuss potential changes to the visitor permit program. 14 Bridger Park Garage -
