Thank you for this opportunity to comment on our city staff proposal. There is no doubt that
there are too many boards as currently configured. I am not sure on the appropriate number,but six seems a bit on the extreme side. I like the way that you have grouped them by topic or
area of interest, this could be done in a more logical and inclusive way.
You list, "No alternatives" and "no unresolved issues" at the end of your memorandum. Goodluck on that one......
I would suggest putting some members of each of the existing boards into a room to decide on
the number of boards needed to satisfy everyone's interests and concerns. Good luck.
