Important Reminders:
If declared successful, the bidder agrees to execute a timber sale contract, furnish a satisfactory
performance bond amounting to 20% of total bid price and provide proof of applicable insurance within 30
days from notification of sale award.
The Purchaser must pay Advance Stumpage, covering 6 weeks of operations, prior to cutting any timber.
Sale characteristics including product volume and estimated road development costs are not guaranteed.
Bid Form must be accompanied by a signed Nondiscimination & Equal Pay Affirmation.
The City of Bozeman reserves the right to reject any or all bids, including those judged to be skewed and not
in the best interest of the City of Bozeman.

NOTES REGARDING DELIVERY OF BIDS
‐ USPS will not deliver mail to the physical address of City Hall. Bids must be shipped or hand‐
delivered to this physical address.
‐ Bids mailed by USPS must be addressed to P.O. Box 1230, Bozeman, MT 59771‐1230 and sent
to the attention of the City Clerk. Bidder is responsible for ensuring its mailed bid is received by
the City Clerk prior to the bid opening.
