Dear City Commission:
We were shocked to learn the other day that the City is cancelling the afternoon swim practice
for the Bozeman Barracudas, just as it is about to begin. As I am sure you are aware, many ofus have organized our summer work schedule around the often complex schedules of
children’s activities, camps, etc. This sudden change, which has come with virtually noexplanation, is going to pose the very real threat of children no longer being able to participate
in a sport for which they’ve worked so hard.
Please tell me why you think this sudden change is necessary, and explain what steps you havetaken to resolve this issue.
