THE VALLEY. SPLASH DAMS CREATED TO
MOVE TIMBER DOWN FROM HYALITE AND
SUPPLY TO FORT ELLIS. CREATION OF UPPER
MIDDLE CREEK DITCH COMPANY IN 1871.
HISTORICAL THEMES:
HABITAT IN SOUTHWEST MONTANA INCLUDE
ALPINE, RIPARIAN, FOREST, GRASSLAND.
CELEBRATION OF NATURAL HERITAGE AND
THE VALLEY OF THE FLOWERS. EDUCATION

PEAS AND CANNING.

LINEAR GREENWAYS Linear greenways are considered thoroughfares within the natural environment devoted to off-street bikeways and pedestrian trails. These corridors provide alternative means of travel or recreation for a community, and are typically situated along easements, streams and tributaries. Amenities include trails, site furnishings and plantings.
